Service Provider Networks

The best possible start in life because service providers form networks to share resources and information.

Parent Services Interagency
Service providers for families and children meet quarterly to network and share information. Meetings go for 2 hours and are held in Shellharbour City Council's Administration building, Lamerton House from 1pm - 3pm.  For more information contact Council's Community Development Officer on 4221 6170.

Families NSW Network
Families NSW is the NSW Government's strategy to enhance the health and wellbeing of children up to 8 years and their families. The Illawarra Families NSW area incorporates the three Local Government Areas of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama, along with Shoalhaven City (Nowra, Jervis Bay, Ulladulla).
Child and Family workers from any of the four Illawarra LGAs are welcome to attend Monthly Meetings. Members work on agreed priorities and share information and presentations. Guest presenters and specialists often also attend Professional Development Opportunities. The meetings are a valuable networking opportunity. Members also share information via email and web based interactions.
Contact the Network Facilitator to receive an infopack and get on board! Membership includes representatives from Families NSW funded services and projects, Families NSW partners: Departments of Community Services; Housing; Health; Education and Training and Aging Disability and Home Care. Membership also includes local government and interested community agencies/ parties.
The Network partners with Aboriginal Child Youth and Family Strategy Network members for shared meetings and Planning.
Any non-commercial enterprise focused on Children aged 0-8 and Families in the Illawarra is encouraged to join/ attend Meetings

Meetings are held monthly in Warrawong.
