Free information for parents available 24 hours toll free in NSW
Parent Line is a telephone help line for NSW parents of children and young people aged 0 – 18 years. Experienced counsellors are able to provide on the spot advice, information by mail or links to other services. Parent Line also provides multi lingual and Aboriginal counsellors.     The FAP Healthline is the telephone information service of Family Planning NSW. When you call, a nurse who specialises in reproductive and sexual health will answer your questions using up-to-date information. The service is anonymous and confidential.

    Legal Assistance - Illawarra Legal Centre run a free drop-in legal advice service for women at the Illawarra Women's Health Centre in Warilla.
    When: First and third Tuesday of each month
    Hours: 10:00am - 12:00 noon.
    No appointment is necessary. They also provide the following services:
    • Domestic violence support, advice and referral
    • Quit smoking for women
    • Self Esteem
    • A variety of exercise classes including Tai Chi, belly dancing, yoga and gentle exercises meditation

    The Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Service provides a wide variety of services including medical, dental, substance counselling and others including those listed below. They have offices in Wollongong and Dapto.

    The Early Childhood Health Service
    The Early Childhood Health Service is available Tuesdays & Wednesdays from the Wollongong and Dapto Offices. IAMS Doctors and Registered Nurses are available Monday to Friday.
    The service provides newborn examinations, immunisations, advice on feeding, diet, behaviour and development, hearing checks, Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist and Paediatric Clinics.

    Postnatal Depression

    Illawarra Division of General Practice Perinatal Service
    Are you concerned about how you're coping since the birth of your baby? IDGP's Clinical Psychology Service can provide individual and group therapy for women and families in the perinatal period, particulary for women with post-natal depression and anxiety.
