Child and Family Service (Kids Cottage – Warilla)
Provides the following services for children:
Psychology and social work - May assist children with behavioural, emotional and social problems through counselling and therapy.
Occupational Therapy - Offers assessment and therapy for children having trouble with activities such as handwriting, colouring-in and drawing, cutting out and tying shoe laces. This therapy may be offered individually or in group/school programs.
Physiotherapy - This service assess and treats children having difficulties with balance, co-ordination, pigeon-toes, knock-knees and low strength.
Speech Pathology - Paediatric Speech Pathologists assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children. Therapy may be offered individually or in group/school programs.
Audiology - This service provides assessement of children's hearing and middle ear function.
Referrals for the above services are often made by professionals, however parents/carers can contact the service directly.

We provide home or childcare visits from Coledale to Shellcove. We have a reputation in the Illawarra for working with children and their families and childcare providers to find fun and effective ways to help children become strong, coordinated kids. Suzy Lock Kids Physio works with babies with flat head shape or those slow to get crawling or walking. We help children who have poor coordination, appear clumsy, fall over, have knock knees, cerebral palsy or poor running style. Family Support Services
Support families with children 0-8 years and provide information about child development and parenting skills. They also provide advocacy and referral, conduct home visits and assist clients develop social networks.
The Early Childhood Health Service
The Early Childhood Health Service is available Tuesdays & Wednesdays from the Wollongong and Dapto Offices. IAMS Doctors and Registered Nurses are available Monday to Friday.
The service provides newborn examinations, immunisations, advice on feeding, diet, behaviour and development, hearing checks, Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist and Paediatric Clinics.

Service for pregnant mothers, breastfeeding mothers or family members with a question or needing advice about medications, prescription or over the counter, which are safe to take.
