WIDA Aboriginal Breastfeeding Group Are you Aboriginal, pregnant or have a newborn baby, willing to try breastfeeding and come to a support group regularly? The Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Service and Barnardos run a supported breastfeeding group each week, with culturally appropriate activities provided by Aunties from within the local community, information on parenting and breastfeeding, free childcare and incentives to continue breastfeeding. YADDA Young Dads Doing Alright Yadda is a pilot program for 8-10 young fathers under the age of 19 years. The program starts in March and runs until the end of June. The program will be based at Lake Illawarra PCYC which will include visits from services, programs and organisations. The program provides group support and social interaction.
